HMM opens Global Documentation Center in Mumbai, India

With 90 local employees, HMM’s new Global Documentation Center in Mumbai handles all container transport documents on behalf of its overseas offices

A few day ago, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) opened the new Global Documentation Center (GDC) in Mumbai, India. The GDC will handle all container transport documents such as Bills of Landings (B/L) and customs declarations originally handled by HMM overseas offices. For the new operation, HMM has hired 90 local employees who will work at the center over three shifts.
