IJS Global and Seijgraaf Advisory Group take over BioPortEurope

Expansion of BioPortEurope to other parts of the world; the enterprise offers integrated services for life science companies from overseas

BioPortEurope has been taken over by two of its partners and turned into a commercial enterprise to offer integrated business services for life science companies wanting to enter the European market. IJS Global, a worldwide operating logistics service provider with headquarters at Schiphol, and Seijgraaf Advisory Group, active since 1985 in the field of health care financing in the Netherlands, are the two lead partners. These two companies have teamed up with Mazars, which is a global audit, accounting and consulting group, Rabobank and the Amsterdam Economic Board in order to offer a complete package of services to provide life science companies with technical expertise and knowledge.

This was just a fixed term project which will shortly conclude. As it has proved so successful its partners could readily see how the concept could be both rolled out and expanded to other parts of the world.

BioPortEurope was created in 2010 as a project from Amsterdam Innovation Motor to facilitate Indian life science companies expanding their business into the European market. It gave them specialist knowledge in a wide range of fields including: market access, reimbursement, tax, finance, banking, certification, logistics, supply-chain, distribution, warehousing, customs, finding strategic partners and technology transfer.
