Iraqi Airways calling Vienna
Iraqi Airways to offer regular services from Vienna to Bagdad and Najaf from April 25
On April 25, Iraqi Airways starts offering new regular services from Austria to the Iraq. Three weekly flights will be operated with an Airbus 320. Every Monday and Friday, the aircraft will depart from Vienna at 1 p.m., landing at 6:45 p.m. in the Iraq capital Bagdad. On Sundays a direct service to Najaf will be on the schedule, taking off in Vienna at 1 pm. and landing at 6.45 pm. at its destination in Iraq.
“We are glad being able to offer Najaf as a new, directly reachable destination through the new flights to Iraq, thereby expanding our route network, which is also strengthening our role as a gateway to the Near and Middle East,” explains Julian Jäger, member of Vienna Airport’s Management Board.
