ITM Power takes 134,000 sq ft at Bessemer Park

Energy storage and clean fuel company ITM Power is to relocate and built 134,000 sq ft unit at PLP at Bessemer Park, Sheffield, relocating its global manufacturing headquarters.

The unit is due to be completed in November 2019. It is part Phase 1 at PLP Bessemer Park which is currently under construction and includes a 43,000 sq ft speculative unit in addition to ITM Power’s unit. The overall development 850,000 sq ft. PLP are currently seeking build to suit development opportunities of up to 670,000 sq ft. for Phase 2 of the development.

ITM Power chief executive Dr Graham Cooley said: “I am delighted to be able to announce this key milestone and I do so with confidence that the team has done a thorough job in selecting the right premises. The detailed planning that has taken place will pay dividends as we transition our activities to PLP Bessemer Park in the New Year.”
