China Airlines, Korean Air and Qatar Airways to increase and extend their long haul services from Vienna International Airport

In addition to the already known novelties in the 2015 summer flight schedule, several airlines are increasing their long haul capacities from the Vienna International Airport. From early June 2015 there will be an increased flight offer to Asia: China Airlines expands the capacity on its three weekly flights to Taipei, replacing the previously operated Airbus A340 by a Boeing 747.

As of 1 June 2015 Korean Air increases the frequency to Seoul to four weekly flights, deploying an additional Boeing 777, and will add another flight in early July, operated with another Boeing 777. Qatar Airways increases its frequency to Doha to nine weekly flights from 1 July to 31 August 2015, deploying a Boeing 787. Kuwait Airways will serve the route to Kuwait City three times weekly from 21 July 2015 to 24 October 2015, using an Airbus 320.

From 22 June 2015 to 19 September 2015 Turkish Airlines will add two weekly frequencies to its Istanbul-Ataturk service, bringing it to a total of 30 flights per week. From 17 September 2015 British Airways is to launch a new flight to London Gatwick, serving the destination up to six times weekly from Vienna.
