Kuehne + Nagel group’s overland unit launches new product KN I2M Overland featuring dynamic inbound supply chain planning
In line with its “Road 2 Profit” overland strategy Kuehne + Nagel is expanding its portfolio of specialised network services. The service named KN I2M Overland – Inbound to Manufacturing – is designed to help suppliers benefit from optimised procurement logistics.
KN I2M Overland is primarily tailored for 2nd and 3rd tier automotive suppliers, who are regularly confronted with fluctuating order volumes and ever changing production requirements. Central elements of the new offer, which is available worldwide, are dynamic inbound supply chain planning, optimised inbound transports, process transparency and clear cost allocation. Product quality and operational excellence are ensured via the global Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics Control Centres and a standardised specifically developed IT-solution.
