Logwin expands logistics network in China

Logwin has opened a new high-end logistics centre in Shanghai to meet growing demand from international and local customers for value-added services.

Located in Waigaoqiao, the 2,000 m2 facility includes warehousing, a bonded area, temperature-controlled storage and a processing zone.

Logwin has operated in the Waigaoqiao Bonded Area since 2000, and the new facility expands Logwin’s growing network of logistics centres across China.

In the Shanghai area, Logwin China also operates a warehouse facility in Baoshan for non-bonded services. There are dedicated areas within the facility equipped and designed for the both the fashion and hi-tech sectors.

In Shanghai’s Lingang district, Logwin operates a 6,000 m2 Container Freight Station (CFS) close to the deepwater Yangshan Port. The facility mainly provides consolidation services for major exporters.

Logwin has a Class-A licence for logistics and trading operations in China.

Logwin established its operations in the region in 1972 and now has 49 offices in Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, as well as representative offices in New Zealand, Cambodia, Japan, Laos and Myanmar. Logwin also has South Asia representative offices in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
