Logwin expands presence in China

Logwin has opened a new sales office in the city of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, to further strengthen its presence in China.

The company announced it had selected Chengdu, as the city is home to some of the world’s leading IT and technology brands such as Intel, IBM, CISCO, Nokia, SAP, Siemens, Canon, HP, Xerox, and Microsoft. The municipality also has a well established aircraft manufacturing and aviation technology base as well as a growing pharmaceuticals sector.

"Chengdu is one of the fastest growing cities in China and demand for logistics services is increasing. The new office will strengthen our presence in the region, providing improved reach into the regional market and create new opportunities for us to grow our business," said Henk Westerhoek, Logwin, Country Director Central and Northern China.

He added, "We have a proven worldwide network with IT competence as well as a combination of all modes of transport and we have a group of experienced managers ready to provide the best solutions both locally in China and on a global basis."
