Made.com awards three-year contract to iForce

Online furniture and homeware retailer Made.com has awarded a three year contract to Eddie Stobart’s iForce division.

iForce is to provide an online fulfilment and warehouse management service using its SMART software capability. This will take place at its 226,000 square feet warehouse in Redditch.

“iForce’s capability to adapt its world-class solutions to fit the exact requirements of our business was a key reason behind our decision and we look forward to a long and positive relationship,” said Made.com operations director Simon Rigby.

Brian Gaunt, chief executive at iForce, said: “iForce will ensure that Made.com has all of the software and operational capability it needs to meet the demands of its growing customer base.”

Made.com will also make use of iForce’s carrier management software, Route Genie. This will enable Made.com to allocate its parcels to the most appropriate carriers based upon weight, service requirement and cost.
