Majestic Wine chooses Relex
Wine retailer Majestic Wine has chosen Relex Solution to automate its supply chain.
The retailer chosen Relex last year to assist with increasing product availability in store and online.
During a pilot phase, Relex improved its forecast accuracy and availability will reducing inventory levels. Majestic is now implementing Relex for all its categories in all of its stores.
“Relex completed a positive pilot, which delivered excellent results and proved the business case for us to upgrade our supply chain processes,” says Neil Firth, supply chain director, Majestic. “Our product availability increased 11.7 per cent in the six months ending 30 September 2016 and Relex played a key part in this improvement.
“We chose Relex as they understood our supply chain and how we operate. They designed a solution that would work with our unique requirements and their technology gives us rapid insight across our product range.”
Relex will be implemented across the business by June this year.
