Mandata buys Irish transport and logistics company

Transport management software provider Mandata has completed the acquisition of Eureka Information Systems.

Eureka Information Systems is a privately owned provider of transport and logistics software solutions in Ireland.

The company was backed by growth equity investment firms Tenzing and Lloyds Development Capital to complete the transaction.

Mandata’s solutions aim to help hauliers manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, reduce carbon emissions, and improve real-time visibility of operations.

Chris Rigg, CEO of Mandata said, “The acquisition of Eureka is a step towards achieving our goal of becoming the go-to provider of best-in-class transport management software in the UK and Europe.

“Built up over the past decade to being one of Ireland’s foremost providers of transport management systems, Eureka’s product offering supports Mandata’s mission to help road transport operators succeed in all market conditions.”

Adding, Eddie Doyle, Co-founder of Eureka Information Systems said:

“Damien and I are delighted that Eureka Information Systems is now part of the Mandata Group, which will further enhance the services we provide to our existing customers. The company will continue to operate from Rosslare and all customer contact points with the Eureka team will remain.”
