Mann Lines: 25 years of regular RoRo service Cuxhaven – England
The RoRo vessel “ML Frejya” called the port of Cuxhaven on 28 December 2017 for the first time. It is now operated on scheduled services between Harwich, Cuxhaven, Paldiski (Estonia) and Turku (Finland). This eight-day RoRo regular service has been operated by the shipping company Mann Lines since 1992 and celebrated its 25th anniversary with this call.
Mann Lines’ new vessel “ML Frejya” was delivered on 21 June 2017 already, and initially operated as sub-charter on another trade. Now the 191 meter long and 26.3 meter wide ship with a capacity of 2,754 loading meters will be used on the service of the Mann Lines and replace the “Stena Foreteller”.
From Cuxhaven new vehicles from Austria and southern Germany are shipped. Apart from that, Cuxport loads roll trailers carrying break bulk as well as project loads, Shipper’s Own Containers (SOC), construction machinery and other rolling stock.

Cuxport GmbH operates a multifunctional transhipment terminal in the deepwater port of Cuxhaven. The company is a joint venture held by Rhenus SE & Co. KG (74.9 percent) and HHLA Container Terminals GmbH (25.1 percent).
