Meyer QuickService Logistics strengthens its location in Austria

Joining QSL, Jürgen Jacobi, an experienced freight forwarder, strengthens their long-distance transport segment. As Senior Manager Team Cargo he assumes responsibility for the two branch offices in Austria and Germany. Born in Lower Saxony, he has 30 years of professional experience and was most recently employed by an international freight forwarding network.

As Senior Manager Team Cargo of QSL, Jürgen Jacobi is responsible for the dynamic development of the QSL network in Europe and manages the Cargo Team with a total of 30 employees. In addition to the development of the long-distance transport network, he is responsible for order management as well as customer and subcontractor support. “Our goal is to significantly increase the number of orders placed on a daily basis in our long-distance network, and to further strengthen our position in Austria in view of the expanding market in Eastern Europe,” he says.

Meyer QSL is well-known for its transport, logistics and management services for system gastronomy, but the network is not restricted to customers in this area. The long-distance transport division is open to all commercial customers who need classical or temperature-controlled transports.
