More short sea for Thamesport

A2B-online Container has added a fourth weekly sailing to its service between Thamesport and Moerdijk in The Netherlands.

The new sailing was inaugurated on 18th April with the first call of the MS A2B Spiri, a 508 TEU container ship.

“We are seeing a growing demand in the short-sea container market as a response to increasing labour shortages in the driver-accompanied market and uncertainty around Brexit,” said Clemence Cheng, executive director of Hutchison Ports.
