MSC with new service between Europe and West Coast USA

“USA West Coast Express” by Mediterranean Shipping Company covers the European ports Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre and Sines

Following several months of labor disputes which caused severe congestion in US west coast ports, an agreement has been reached which will allow normal service to resume. To complement this positive market development, MSC is adding a new direct service will be added to their transatlantic network, effective 16 May 2015.

The service, named “USA West Coast Express”, will rotate as follows; Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre, Sines, Long Beach, Oakland, Vancouver, Seattle, Manzanillo, Cristobal, Sines, Felixstowe.

The addition of this service means that MSC will be in a unique position to offer all major US ports on a direct basis. MSC’s six weekly services to/from North Europe will call at: Boston, New York (twice weekly), Baltimore, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Savannah, Charleston (twice weekly), Jacksonville, Miami, Port everglades, New Orleans, Houston, Mobile, Vancouver Seattle, Long Beach and Oakland.
