Online retailer takes 190,000 sq ft DC

A major online retailer has taken a ten year lease on a 190,000 sq ft warehouse at Wet Moor Park in Doncaster.

The is adjacent to Junction 4 of the M18 and is an established distribution location for occupiers including IKEA, Next and ABP Foods. The tenant has been granted planning consent to extend facility by a further 40,000 sq ft.

The unit has been let by Property Income Trust for Charities (PITCH), managed by Mayfair Capital.

“This is a material letting for PITCH which creates a substantial income stream and also a major uplift in the capital value of the asset. The occupier is one of the most dynamic online retailers and we look forward to working with them on the potential extension of the facility,” said Scott Fawcett, director of asset management with responsibility for PITCH.
