Panther appoints new COO

Panther Warehousing has appointed Brian McCarthy as its chief operating officer.

McCarthy has previously worked as logistics director for bed retailer Dreams. He has also held positions at Home Retail Group and Asda.

“Panther has grown because it knows the delivery experience is vital,” says McCarthy. “If a customer is impressed with the service they have received, they are more likely to order from the same place again. Essentially, it is an extension of their buying experience with the retailer.

“Consumers are now more willing to order expensive and large items online, and this is a testament to the practices and hard work of firms like Panther.”
