Parts distributor in £100,000 move

Industrial parts distributor Antifriction is to relocate its Midlands branch from Aston to the Dudley headquarters of sister company Ehrco.

The £100,000 move is designed to allow faster delivery times and closer integration with Ehrco, the supplier of hydraulic hose and fitting that was acquired by the group in November last year.

The unit on Peartree Business Park, Dudley will be upgraded to expand the warehousing facilities and allow both businesses to hold additional specialised stock.

Antifriction, part of European industrial distributor Gruppo Bianchi, has doubled in turnover in the Midlands. The upgrade is part of its £1m-plus national investment programme. The business supplies lubricants, fluid power products, bearings and other components to industry.
