Peter W. Lampke GmbH & Co. KG (PWL) celebrates its 50th anniversary in October. The company was established on October 20th, 1964 in Bremen. At that time the company worked as shipbroker and liner agent. Offices at Hamburg, Duisburg and Bremerhaven were opened. The company grew to one of the leading entities in shipping services.

In order to fulfil the demands of the global maritime economy, subsidiary companies and joint ventures were established. The widely spread range of services contains the representation of some 15 liner services being engaged in conventional, ro/ro- and container transport, as well as semi liner services trading in the worldwide transport of project cargoes and industrial plants.

Clearance of all kinds of vessels including cruise ships and tankers in all German ports is performed by PWL Port Services GmbH & Co. KG. The company PWL Worldwide Logistics GmbH & Co. KG is active in the field of automotive logistics and offers services around the globe with its partners. The PWL-group stands for 360° maritime logistics.

The formula of success of this privately owned company with partners being actively engaged in the daily business is seen in the consequent focus on the customers’ demands.
