Quehenberger Logistics recruits forwarding expert Robert Fellinger

New captain of about 190 employees: Robert Fellinger is to manage all activities of Quehenberger Logistics in Upper Austria effective now

Robert Fellinger, MBA (47) assumed the position of the branch manager Quehenberger Logistics in Enns effective April 1, 2014. In this function he is directly reporting to the management of Quehenberger Austria and is in charge of the expansion and current operation of all forwarding and logistics activities in Upper Austria. This includes the central hub in Enns as well as the logistics sites in Eberstalzell, Linz-Leonding and Linz-Chemiepark.

The Upper Austrian Robert Fellinger has been active for 30 years in various areas of responsibility in the forwarding and logistics segment. Lately he had been holding the function of the branch manager of an international logistics group (editor’s note: DB Schenker). He has many years of management experience and is highly qualified in the segments of land transport, air/sea freight and logistics.

Quehenberger Enns is the largest transhipment point of the nationwide general cargo network, as well as an international platform for traffic with Western and Eastern Europe. In addition the location manages warehousing logistics for customers from trade and industry, offers solutions for chemical and bulk logistics and acts as lead logistics provider. A special focus lies also on branch delivery, using individual tour concepts for retail clients.

Quehenberger in Upper Austria serves such reputable customers as dm Drogerie Markt, Werner & Mertz or Rosenbauer. The about 190 employees operate around 35,000 m² of storage and transhipment area. “Quehenberger Logistics offers the necessary support for sustainable success to Upper Austria’s industry.
