Swissport International is appointed Finnair’s cargo ground handler in Brussels; Hermes Fulfilment appoints Kenco Logistic Services to provide Wolford with warehouse services.

Swissport International has been awarded the cargo ground handling contract with Finnair covering its operations at Brussels International Airport.
Finnair operates around 2,300 scheduled passenger flights a year between Brussels and its hub airport Helsinki, carrying around 1,100 tonnes of cargo annually.
The new contract is effective August 1st, following a handover from Finnair’s existing cargo handler at Brussels.

Swissport International operates at 184 locations in 36 countries, providing ground services for around 3.2 million tonnes of cargo a year.

Hermes Fulfilment has engaged Kenco Logistic Services to provide warehouse services for Wolford’s web store.

Kenco will handle the storage, order picking and distribution of the Wolford merchandise at its distribution centre in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Kenco will also process customer orders placed through the Wolford web store, and will provide returns management services for the American market.
Hermes Fulfilment has provided services for Austria-based Wolford’s online retail business since mid-2009. In addition to the US, Wolford’s web store also operates in fourteen European countries: Germany, Austria, Holland, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. Other countries will soon be added, including Norway, Poland and Canada.

For the European web stores, Hermes Fulfilment will provide Wolford with storage and shipping services at the Haldensleben distribution centre in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
