Swiss WorldCargo and Cargologic extend partnership; DHL extends cooperation with BMW UK in Scotland and Northern England; TBB Global Logistics signs a three-year contract with Burnham Holdings.

Swiss WorldCargo and Cargologic have extended their partnership with a new seven-year agreement concerning freight handling operations at Zurich airport.

Cargologic handles up to 500,000 tons of airfreight each year. The company operates at airports in Switzerland (Zurich, Basel, Berne and Lugano) and Germany (Frankfurt), and is also present in Amsterdam and Brussels through its affiliate, Skylink. Swiss WorldCargo’s network covers 150 destinations in more than eighty countries.

DHL Supply Chain has signed a three-year contract with BMW to increase dealership deliveries in Scotland and Northern England.

DHL will provide warehousing and despatch services at its shared-user Bellshill location in Scotland. As a result of the deal, eighteen BMW dealerships in Scotland and Northern England will receive regular deliveries up to three times a day, in addition to their through-the-night service.

DHL is also assisting BMW in managing the DMDC concept in other territories, including Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, and the US.

Boiler and radiator manufacturer, Burnham Holdings, has awarded a three-year contract to TBB Global Logistics to provide domestic transportation management services.

TBB Global Logistics has provided international transportation management services under its Supply Chain Guardian brand to Burnham Holdings for three of its subsidiaries for several years, including handling inbound containers from France and China. This new contract expands the services TBB Global Logistics will provide to Burnham Holdings.
