Via hub in Greater Munich: Rhenus Midi Data provides logistics services for healthcare and fitness products of the Life Fitness company
Since this spring Rhenus Midi Data is operating as logistics partner of Life Fitness, a worldwide leader in the development of healthcare and fitness products. In Bavaria the high tech logistics specialist of the Rhenus group operates one of the European warehouses of the US-American manufacturer, from where they serve customers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy.
A 6,000 m² customised logistics center in the Munich area has been established therefore. This is where the specialist provider of technical services and distribution of high-tech products, takeos over the warehouse management for a wide range of fitness equipment as well as comprehensive tasks for spare parts logistics. For Life Fitness this means further professionalisation of its European warehousing and distribution processes.
At the logistics center Rhenus Midi Data takes care of the goods receipt, the subsequent picking and dispatch to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. On behalf of Life Fitness the company also organises transport solutions and, if desired, the installation of the equipment at the respective location. These include, among other things, health clubs, gyms and facilities for amateur and professional sport.
