Rhenus takes over Avant Air and Sea
Rhenus Logistics is to expand its presence in Ireland through its acquisition of temperature-controlled, pharmaceutical shipments and hazardous consignments provider Avant Air and Sea.
The acquisition will “make an important contribution to the ongoing growth of the Rhenus Group,” said Rhenus Air and Ocean Europe managing director Jörn Schmersahl.
In turn, Rhenus group will enable Avant to continue developing services customers due to its global network and its comprehensive expertise said Avant managing director David Warren.
