Roland Spedition launches new regular connection on the Koper – Enns axis

Expansion of the product range enables forwarders and shipping companies to move towards a more flexible cooperation with the container operator Roland

Due to brisk demand, Roland Spedition complements their service range by a weekly connection from Koper to Enns. The terminal Graz CCG will act as hub for these transports. „We are offering daily departures ex Koper to Graz from Sunday to Wednesday. The connecting train will run every Thursday ex Graz to Enns with provision of containers at the container terminal Enns every Friday at 10 o’clock”, Roland Spedition announces. Consequently the new product serves as an upgrade to the regular export product ex Enns to Koper, departure every Thursday with closing for cargo in Enns on Wednesday at 6 p.m., provision in Koper on Sunday around noon.

Roland Spedition with headquarters in Schwechat near Vienna and a branch in Salzburg was founded by Heinz Gutjahr in 1982. Since 2005 the company has been managed by the two shareholders Christian Gutjahr (the founder’s son) and Mag. Nikolaus Hirschall, who both hold 50 % of the shares each. The main transport axis is the connection of large European seaports such as Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Antwerp or Trieste and Koper with the most important terminals in Austria, such as Vienna, Enns, Linz, Graz or Salzburg. In addition they offer transports to hinterland terminals in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other EU states.
