Saxony-Anhalt with shared exhibition stand on transport logistic 2009

Saxony-Anhalt will present itself at the world’s largest trade show for logistics, telematics, and commerce

The state of Saxony-Anhalt would like to distinguish itself even more as an important logistics location and thereby, at the same time, promote itself for the establishment of new investors. One highlight is the participation of Saxony-Anhalt corporations in the transport logistic 2009 which takes place in Munich, beginning today through the 15th of May, 2009.

The business development corporation Anhalt-Bitterfeld mbH, the Magdeburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Transport and Logistics Company TAS GmbH from Aschersleben are being showcased at the communal stand for the state’s investment and marketing association in hall B3, stand 319. An additional exhibitor from Saxony-Anhalt is the Magdeburger Hafen GmbH in Hall B4, Stand 217.  The City of Halle (Saale) and the Halle-Dessau are represented at the communal stand for the network logistics for Leipzig-Halle (Hall B3, Stand 321).

The trade show a part of the Logistics Initiative presented in the previous week which is being supported by the Department for Transport and the Ministry of Economics, the Investment and Marketing Association, as well as the Chambers of Industry and Commerce. The two-year initiative should, above all, strengthen the awareness of the locational advantages of Saxony-Anhalt. In addition to different trade show appearances the participation in international presentations, and conferences, as well as topically relevant public relations and outreach work is planned. At the same time the cabinet decided on a comprehensive logistic concept. The state’s logistic advisory committee formed two years ago made significant contributions to its creation.
