Schoeller appoints distributor for smaller orders

Schoeller Allibert has appointed Alison Handling Systems to provide plastic boxes, containers and trays for its food and beverage customers in the UK.

Alison Handling Services, based in Preston, stocks a variety of ex-Linpac Allibert products. It will handle orders from food manufacturers and retailers worth £1,500 and below on a next-day delivery basis, while the network of Schoeller Allibert distribution depots will continue to fill larger and bespoke orders directly.

Garry Thorpe, national distributor sales manager, said: “Customers can be assured that the RTP we supply to Alison meet ISO standards for food contact and will help maintain quality, freshness and hygiene of food products”.
