Spatial rebrands and strengthens UK international mail commercial team

Reflecting the international status of its business, UK-based Spatial (Air Brokers and Forwarders) Ltd – which until now has traded as ‘Spatial Group‘ – has changed its name to Spatial Global Limited and is introducing a modern new look (see attached logo).

At the same time, the freight forwarding, mail, courier and logistics specialist has appointed David A Storey (photo also attached) to the newly created position of Senior Business Development Manager at its Castle Donington, Derbyshire, head office.

Part of the fast-growing Keswick Enterprises group, Spatial Global specialises in worldwide freight movements, bonded and conventional warehousing, mailing/fulfilment and UK and international mail despatch.  It also offers UK and international courier and other logistics services.

David Storey comes to Spatial from DHL Global Mail UK, where he has worked for the past 11 years – latterly as Sales Development Manager.  David has many years‘ experience of domestic and international logistics, gaining particular expertise in the mail and express sectors.  His previous roles include Business Development Manager at Deutsche Post Global Mail, International Sales Manager at ANC, Senior Sales Executive at Securicor Omega International and Sales Executive at Danzas.  His career began in 1976 with a stint in the Royal Navy.

David will now head up Spatial Mail’s commercial team, where his responsibilities will include both sales and managing the supply side – relationships with postal authorities, mail consolidators, plus parcel and courier companies.  He is tasked with growing the division’s business by expanding beyond its established print and fulfilment arena, and by strengthening relations with service providers used in the DSA (downstream access), courier and international mail markets.

Bryan Hindle, Managing Director of Spatial Global, commented: “Spatial is developing into a major UK-based international brand in the freight, mail, courier and logistics sectors.  We offer a global service from our Derbyshire head office, and have now formally changed our company name to reflect this.  In addition, a new corporate identity is being implemented and a new company website is under development.

“Included within this process is the creation of the Senior Business Development Manager position in the Spatial Mail division, and we are absolutely delighted to welcome David Storey into the role.  Coming from a strong international mail and express background, David is hugely experienced in this marketplace and will help to generate the growth necessary to take the division to the next level in its development.”
