Sweet deal for Tritax Symmetry
Family favourite sweet manufacturer Swizzels Matlow is taking a 158,000 sq ft warehouse at Tritax Symmetry’s MA6NITUDE scheme in Middlewich, Cheshire.
The new manufacturing facility and distribution facility will form the first phase of a total development of up to 460,000 sq ft.
The new facility for Swizzels will be an expansion of the confectioner’s current manufacturing capability and involves a significant additional investment in new manufacturing plant and machinery.
David Nuttall, development director at Tritax Symmetry, said: “With the deal now signed, we are aiming to submit the planning application imminently.”
