System Alliance Europe to serve more countries in the Balkans

Gebrüder Weiss-companies in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro are new members in the System Alliance Europe groupage network

System Alliance Europe strengthened its market presence in the Balkans. From now on, the Gebrüder Weiss companies in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro are part of the European groupage cooperation formed by 57 companies in 32 countries. With locations in Sarajevo, Skopje and Podgorica, the network now includes 192 companies.

Gebrüder Weiss capitalises overland transport and groupage in the three Balkan countries. Approximately 15,000 shipments are handled there by the 42 employees annually. With 14 companies in the network the Austrian transport and logistics provider is one of the driving forces of the System Alliance Europe.

„Gebrüder Weiss meets the required standards perfectly. The area coverage defined in the strategy is achieved through the connection of these three countries,“ says Uwe Meyer, CEO of System Alliance Europe. Nevertheless, the alliance will, if appropriate, accept more partners. If a potential candidate meets the admission criteria, optimisations are conceivable in already covered areas.
