Ten years „variety“ with Unitcargo Spedition
Unitcargo Spedition has their headquarters in Vienna and puts the focus on international road traffic to Central and Southeastern Europe
We will stick with the successfully implemented strategy to work with a varied team and are aiming at continued healthy growth in the next years. This is how Mag. Davor Sertic, founder and general manager of the Unitcargo Spedition GmbH, put it at the 10-year anniversary celebrations of the company on 6 June in Vienna. The event hosted numerous customers and business partners of the specialised provider of full load truck transports.
International transport logistics is the core product of the company Unitcargo which was founded in Vienna in 2004. As a niche player the forwarder has especially established itself on the corridor from Scandinavia to Central and Southeastern Europe. The company schedules more than 14.500 truck transports within the EU and the Middle East every year. Besides the headquarters in Vienna there are branch offices in Slovakia, Turkey, Bulgaria and now also in Romania.
In total the privately-owned Vienna based forwarding company employs 40 people – 17 of those in Austria – and looks back on a successful development of their business. For the business year 2013 the whole group generated a turnover of 21,5 million Euros. The employees with their different cultural and social background are a competitive advantage for the company.
