TGW extends partnership with “universalist” Ontime Logistics
About 16,000 express, parcel and general cargo shipments per year: Ontime Logistics GmbH to organise shipment logistics of TGW Logistics Group (Wels) for three more years
The TGW Logistics Group extends and deepens its cooperation with Ontime Logistics GmbH. Based in Wels, the intra-logistics specialist has charged the “universalist“ with the management of shipment logistics of annually about 16,000 express, parcel and general cargo shipments. In this function Ontime Logistics organises transportations to destinations in Europe, Russia, Turkey, the U.S., Brazil and Asia. The service also includes an innovative monitoring system and personal, pro-active information of the customers about the status of their shipments.
As plant construction company TGW Logistics implements various in-plant logistics solutions worldwide, ranging from small conveyor appliances to complex logistics facilities for trade and industry. Established in 1969, the company has today a staff of about 1,700 employees, lately achieving annual turnover of about EUR 390 million. The export ratio is 95 per cent. Ontime Logistics organises express, parcel and general cargo logistics for construction sites and customers worldwide for 12 years now.

Customised logistics solutions for special requirements and the so-called time-sensitive segment are our strenghts, and very important to highly specialised companies such as TGW for delivery as well as in spare parts business“, say Kurt Posch and Roland Schäffner, managing directors of Ontime Logistics.
Established in 2001, Ontime Logistics GmbH has today about 100 employees at the headquarters in Seekirchen am Wallersee (Salzburg) and at branches in Linz, Innsbruck, Vienna and Budapest. Their customers come from the following industries: automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, plant and mechanical engineering as well as film and media. Their reference customers are e.g. global groups such as Sony DADC, Mango, Plasser&Theurer, FACC or the internationally operating manufacturer of sports motorcycles KTM.
