Transite launches new TMS based on Jaguar platform

Transite Technology has introduced a new Transportation Management System based on its flexible Jaguar transportation management platform.

Jaguar TMS enables shippers and 3PLs to manage and automate all aspects of the logistics lifecycle, including carrier selection based on cost and/or service level, dispatch, visibility, and freight audit.

The flexibility of Jaguar TMS allows users to "self-customise" by adding their own or third-party transportation management applications.

According to Transite CEO Geoff Comrie, the company already has customers who are migrating from traditional tier-one transportation management systems.  Jaguar’s easy integration and flexibility means that implementation time is reduced and users are able to build and scale their own transportation applications to suit their changing business and the unique needs of their customers.

Jaguar TMS enables easy integration of the transportation process with users‘ internal systems, which includes ERP, order management, warehousing, and other transportation systems.

Jaguar TMS evolves as needs change; it can be used as standalone system initially, and then integrated component-by-component.

Available as a software as a service (SaaS) subscription or premise installation, Jaguar TMS is affordable without high capital expense, lengthy implementations or major changes to internal processes.

The new TMS joins Transite’s Jaguar Transportation Management Suite which includes Jaguar Transportation Development Platform, Jaguar Contract Manager and Jaguar Suite Application Store.
