Turners integrates Atlas platform
Turners of Soham has awarded B2B e-commerce and e-business solution specialist, Atlas Products International, a contract for the provision of its Atlas e-business platform. Newmarket-based Turners is a UK haulage company, which specialises in temperature controlled storage, distribution, and bulk tankers. It employs some 2,000 people and operates a fleet of more than 1,200 vehicles. Atlas‘ solution includes the Atlas Supplier Portal and Atlas MX EDI translation software, and will now be fully integrated with all of Turners‘ back office systems. The company says it will offer Turners both seamless and sophisticated supplier e-invoice and e-order management. IT manager at Turners, David Sloman, said: „We are confident that this new deal will enable us to achieve business efficiencies and enhanced electronic trading with our partners.”
