UPS launches express flights to Chengdu

UPS launched new daily MD-11 flights into Chengdu, China on July 25th, further expanding the company’s connections between Asia, Europe and the US.

The around-the-world flight through Chengdu will originate at UPS’s European hub in Cologne, Germany, stopping in Warsaw en route to Chengdu’s Shuangliu International Airport, and onward to UPS’s Asia hub in Shanghai.

With the Chengdu flight, UPS now connects Europe and Asia with a total of 24 flights per week.

The Chengdu flight represents another step in UPS’s expanding China network; the company now serves 330 cities in China and operates 200 weekly flights connecting China to markets around the world.
