Viking raid on Two Sisters

Viking Transport has snapped up a warehouse in Derby from Two Sisters Food Group.

The haulage company has signed a three-year lease for the 13,195 sq ft building at 14-16 Cotton Brook Road on the Sir Francis Ley Industrial Park.

Harris Lamb was instructed by the Two Sisters Food Group to secure a new tenant for the building which had become surplus to the business’ requirements.

Andy Groves, director at Harris Lamb, who oversaw the deal, said: “This property was particularly well-suited to a logistics specialist due to its location and large secure yard; the business park is located close to the M1 and is accessed via one of the city centre’s main arterial routes.

Investment and development company Cole Waterhouse, working in partnership with funding partner Peveril Securities, has submitted a planning application for the development of a 15-acre employment site on the Lymedale Business Park, Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
