British Airways opens route from Vienna to London Gatwick

In addition to London Heathrow, also Gatwick will be called from September; increase in frequency up to 40 weekly flights from Vienna

British Airways adds a new route from Vienna to its program: From 17 September six weekly flights between Vienna and London Gatwick will provide a better link to the British island. The airport in the south of England’s capital will be called daily in the evening by British Airways, with the exeption of Saturday.

The winter flight schedule shall provide four weekly evening flights – on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Thus the airline increases its frequency to 40 or 38 weekly flights between Vienna and London. The schedule comprises currently 34 weekly flights to London Heathrow.

British Airways, a company of the International Airlines Group, is the UK’s biggest international airline. Its route network covers 70 countries; the fleet comprises 280 aircraft. In Austria British Airways is currently calling three airports: Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck.
