New branch manager of Jöbstl forwarding in Styria
Michael Sammt becomes the branch manager of the locations in Wundschuh and Spielfeld; his predecessor Josef Luttenberger is to retire by the end of the year
Michael Sammt is to take over the position of the branch manager of Jöbstl in Styria, effective 1 September 2014. In this function he will be in charge of current operations as well as expansion of all forwarding and logistics activities at the two locations in Wundschuh and Spielfeld.
Previous to his entry at the Jöbstl forwarding company, Michael Sammt had been working for the Gebrüder Weiss company, where he had been in charge of sales in Styria and Southern Burgenland, as well as with Wenzel Logistics and as an independent entrepreneur. Michael Sammt, 47, succeeds Josef Luttenberger, who will retire by the end of this year, after working 37 years for Jöbstl.
In addition to its headquarters in Wundschuh in southern Styria, the internationally operating Jöbstl group has seven offices in Spielfeld, Vienna, Pichl near Wels, Fürnitz and in Ljubljana (SI), Budapest Gyál (HU) and Sibiu (RO). With 250 employees, the forwarding company moves about 150,000 shipments a year. They are offering a wide range of transportation and logistics services from a single source, based on45,000 m² of covered warehouse space.
