1.9m sq ft of underground warehousing gets go-ahead

Up to 1,910,594 million sq ft of underground warehousing space could be developed in Hounslow, West London after local councilors approved the plans.

undergroundThree million tonnes of minerals will be extracted from under what is going to be a new London public park including underground warehousing space.

Work will begin on the park in 2019, and the warehouse space below is predicted to be available for businesses early on during a 15 year period of extraction and construction.
