125,000 sq ft spec scheme for Winsford

Architect Fletcher Rae acting for Winsford DevCo has secured planning consent for a 125,000 sq ft speculative industrial scheme on Winsford Industrial Estate. 

The development will be known as ‘Artis Park’ and will comprise 13 units totalling with seven units in one terrace, three units in another one and three standalone units providing accommodation ranging from 3,000 sq ft to 27,000 sq ft.

Winsford DevCo is a joint venture partnership between Kier Property, Maple Grove Developments and Yorvale.

The site, which is located on Road One of the industrial estate, was previously home to a single 195,000 sq ft distribution warehouse, which has since been demolished. Construction will start on site in late Spring 2019 with a main contractor due to be appointed to deliver the scheme shortly. The first units are due to be ready for occupation by Quarter 1 2020.
