More influence of OKD Doprava on Hungarian BIV
OKD Doprava acquires another 39 per cent of BIV shares Based in Ostrava in the Czech Republic, the transport logistics enterprise OKD Doprava consolidates its position in rail cargo transport in Central Europe with a transaction in Hungary. As of 1 October the holding in the Hungarian private rail company Balaton Industrial Railways Zrt. (BIV) will be increased from previously 51 per cent to 90 per cent. The remaining 10 per cent of the shares are held by G. Transport 96 Transportation Limited. The OKD Doprava Management refers to the investment in Hungary as a measure to improve their position as a provider of trans-border rail transportations in Central Europe.
