Acquisition consolidates Talke Group’s European dry bulk network

Takeover of Luxemburg Hammer Logistik A.G. adds about 50 silo transport units to the capacity of international chemicals logistics expert Talke

With effect from January 1, 2014, the Talke Group has taken over Luxembourg-based Hammer Logistik A.G. The acquisition has expanded the chemicals logistics expert’s European dry bulk network to a total of about 1,200 silo vehicles and containers. The vehicle fleet, infrastructure and administrative functions in Luxemburg will remain there and will be integrated into the Talke Group as an autonomous location. Hammer Logistik A.G., which has been taken over by Talke, was previously a subsidiary of Europaverkehre Hammer & Co. GmbH, Aachen, whose operations are not affected by the acquisition.
