Advanced Supply Chain invests £5.7m in fleet

Advanced Supply Chain Group has invested £5.7 million in its fleet. The business now has 56 new Mercedes Benz Actros 6×2 tractor units.

“From an operational perspective, efficiency and reliability is always a key focus and maintaining a modern fleet is a central part of meeting our business goals,” said chief financial officer Glyn Rogan.

“We do go above and beyond, particularly where our vehicles are concerned; the industry average for fleet renewal is every four to seven years – we’ve made this investment much sooner, just three years since we welcomed the last tranche of vehicles.”
