Agility opens logistics centre in Budapest

Agility sets further milestone for expansion in Central Europe

A new facet was added to the expansion of the globally acting transportation and logistics group Agility in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. The enterprise recently opened a new logistics centre at the BILK-terminal area in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

The facility equipped with the most modern security technology and video surveillance, provides 15,000 sq. m. of warehouse space for the storage of 22,000 pallets. On another 800 sq. m. the enterprise renders value added services in the fields of reparation and maintenance as well as ESD-services (electrostatic discharge) for a customer from the light assembly industry. Another asset is the customs office at the BILK-area.

Agility implements an ambitious expansion program within the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Since the beginning of this year new locations in Austria (Salzburg, Greater Vienna), Slovenia and Poland were opened, followed by the new logistics centre in Budapest, which attends to customers from the automotive and light industry. Further locations are on the schedule.
