Agility signs MOU with Schmidt Heilbronn
Agility has signed a memorandum of understanding with Schmidt Heilbronn, formalising a long-term collaboration with the European dry bulk chemicals logistics provider.
Schmidt Heilbronn and Agility have been cooperating since 2008, and the companies worked together on the Shanghai Logistics Hub project – a 66,000 m² hub that is one of the biggest facilities of its kind in China.
Schmidt has an established track record with many bulk polymer facilities in Europe, as well as extensive experience in the conceptual design and operation of bulk solids storage, handling, packing, and specialised transportation infrastructure.
Agility has an extensive knowledge of chemical logistics, global reach with local presence, especially in emerging markets, and the financial strength to invest in asset-based solutions.
The strategic partnership boosts Agility’s ability to service the chemical industry, and positions Schmidt as a leading chemical dry bulk service provider to emerging markets.
