AirBridgeCargo with more flights from Europe to Moscow

AirBrigeCargo Airlines increases number of flights from Milan and Paris to Moscow as result of close cooperation with customers

AirBridgeCargo Airlines, Russia’s largest international cargo airline and a part of Volga-Dnepr Group, has increased its flights from Milan (Malpensa MXP) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle CDG) to Moscow. Starting from the 1st of November ABC will operate schedule flights from Paris and Milan three and five times a week accordingly. All flights are operated with Boeing 747 freighters. The airline performs flights to MXP and CDG since 2009.

Decision to introduce new frequencies is a result of close cooperation with customers and market trends monitoring. The new frequencies are meant to meet the increased consumer demand for transportation services on these routes especially in raw materials, automotive and fashion sectors.

Over the last nine months ABC tonnage from Milan to Moscow showed a 52% increase, while tonnage from Paris to Moscow showed a 20% increase. These results are above market trends. Overall, the market showed a 25% increase in tonnage carried from Milan to Moscow while there was even a 2% decrease in total tonnage from Paris to Moscow.
