AISÖ modifies TIR carnet tariffs

Advantageous conditions for TIR carnets for international road transport companies in Austria

Due to a price reduction by the International Road Transport Union, the Austrian association Arbeitsgemeinschaft Internationaler Straßentransportunternehmer Österreichs (AISÖ) offers the 4 sheet TIR carnets at a reduced rate effective now.

The prices valid from 14 July 2014 are the following:

4 sheets € 43,- / AISÖ members € 40,– (previously € 51,-/ AISÖ members € 48,–)

6 sheets € 69,- / AISÖ members € 63,–

14 sheets € 93,- / AISÖ members € 88,–

The TIR carnet, an internationally valid customs document, forms the administrative spine of the TIR procedure and is also a proof of the existence of an international system of mutual guarantees for the transport of goods in the frame of the TIR procedure.

This document is issued by the International Road Transport Union (IRU) in Geneva; the AISÖ association, a member of the IRU, issuing border documents in Austria since 1 July 1999, offers enterprises an option to buy TIR carnets at their issuing office (A-1040 Vienna, Wiedner Hauptstrasse 68) in Austria.
