Amazon launches tools to help SMEs manage inventory

Amazon says it has launched 150 tools and services since the beginning of the year to help SMEs grow their sales in Amazon’s stores, including fulfilment tools like Target Inventory Levels.

Independent third-party sellers made up 58 per cent of all physical gross merchandise sold in Amazon’s stores in 2018.

The Target Inventory Levels tool launched in the UK, US, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany is designed to help sellers obtain better insights into their FBA inventory. Achieving suggested inventory levels increases sales through more one-day delivery eligibility, and qualifies selling partners for lower storage fees.

Other tools include: appstore and third-party tools; pricing management tools; business reports and analytics tools; and an improved, redesigned Seller University portal helps selling partners find relevant educational content easier.
