Amazon to open booze warehouse
Amazon is to open a 270,000 sq ft fulfilment centre dedicated to beers, wines and spirits in Rugby later this year.
The building is in final stages of completion. It will employ 400 permanent staff and offer a wage of £9.50 per hour as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, an employee discount and company pension plan.
“We’re excited to bring opportunities across a wide range of roles including IT, operations, engineering automation and more. We’re encouraging people in the region to apply. Rugby is a great area, we’re really looking forward to opening our new fulfilment centre here later this year,” said Amazon Rugby site leader David Tindal.
