Amazon to open Northampton delivery station

Amazon UK is to open a new delivery station in Northampton – where parcels will be delivered to the area. The online retailer will work alongside independent delivery companies at the facility as part of its Amazon Logistics scheme.

AMAZON“Amazon Logistics adds capacity and flexibility to Amazon’s delivery network, enabling us to meet the delivery needs of customers,” said Jamie Stephenson, UK director of Amazon Logistics. “Amazon Logistics is also helping independent local delivery companies to grow their businesses by providing state of the art technology to deliver Amazon orders.”

The facility will open in October 2016.
